This is up to you! We offer 3 primary levels of service at MyHaus Brighton: Tenant find, Rent Collect and Fully Managed. Each level of service has a different fee to reflect the support you will receive. Please ask a member of our team for further information.

We are all required to register our tenants deposits with an approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme. At MyHaus Brighton we register all deposits with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). The scheme is there to protect the deposit for all parties and help settle any disputes that could arise at the end of the tenancy.

Having an inventory protects you and the tenants when it comes to the end of the tenancy. They are detailed documents that cover all aspects of the property and can be used as proof of the original condition before the tenant moves in. 

 

Yes. Before you can let out your property your mortgage lender needs to give you permission, they may also add in special conditions. If you already have the intention of letting the property out you could obtain a buy to let mortgage.

An Energy Performance Certificate or EPC, details the energy efficiency of a property. You will be rated on a scale from A which is most efficient to G which is least, they are valid for 10 years.

As a landlord you are required to have an EPC for your property before it is let and it must have a minimum rating of E. If you fail to meet these requirements you could face a penalty of up to £4,000.
